In 2013-14, Todd Lynch, a Williamsburg resident, received a grant from the Williamsburg Cultural Council to construct a series of “flotsam weirs” on the peninsula of land where the East and West Branches of the Mill River join. Here is his video of that beautiful and thought provoking project. We urge you to visit the Flotsam Weirs here in Williamsburg.
The Mill River Greenway is…
a working group of local citizens who aim to protect the Mill River watershed, preserve its cultural artifacts, enhance its biological health and encourage recreational activity. Our goal is to design and create a greenway along the river.
